Charlie's Bio

Charlie is a native of Dallas, Texas.  At the age of 19, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring after 20 years service.  Duty assignments took him around the world, some locations including Hawaii, Japan, Mediterranean Europe, and a year of combat duty in Vietnam. Battlefield decorations include the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and Combat Action Ribbon. During his years of military service, he served as an engineer officer responsible for construction of buildings, roads and airfields, and managed the physical assets of two major military installations.

Returning to civilian life, Charlie specialized in managing and leasing large real estate portfolios locally, regionally and nationally for large corporations including Trammell Crow, Compass Management and Leasing, Lincoln Property Company and CB Richard Ellis/MEGA. He is currently the Director of Training and Marketing for Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc. in Austin, Texas.

Charlie has taught management and business courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels for four colleges and universities, receiving high marks from faculty administrators and consistently superior ratings from students. He is a nationally recognized speaker and consultant, providing keynote addresses and seminars.

Charlie is an Approved Provider of Texas Real Estate Courses (Provider # 0475) and has consistently been approved by other states and national associations as an approved Instructor for continuing education requirements. He is a long-time member of the National Speakers Association and a popular choice of corporations across the country for motivational presentations in leadership, management skills and presentation expertise.

Charlie holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, a masters degree in Political Science, and five real estate industry designations (CCIM, CFM, CPM, FMA and RPA). Charlie and wife Sharon are the parents of three grown children and grandparents to five. His interests include church work, flying, singing, jogging and performing in community musical theater productions. He has been a professional singer since age 17.
